AI/ML Engineer
You'll be at the core of our AI reasoning layer — designing how our agents understand, classify, and resolve support tickets with minimal human escalation.
What you'll do
- Design and iterate on our multi-step AI agent workflows
- Evaluate LLM performance on real support conversations and tune prompts/pipelines
- Build evaluation harnesses and regression suites to track model quality over time
- Research and prototype new agent reasoning patterns
What we're looking for
- 3+ years hands-on experience with large language models in production
- Deep understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, and tool-use patterns
- Strong Python and TypeScript skills
- Experience evaluating and fine-tuning model outputs
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Convex Agent or similar orchestration frameworks
- Prior work on customer support or conversational AI
- Experience with multi-modal models
